NATIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH PROJECT, JINAN, CHINA
Client: Shandong University
Designer: Shandong University Interdisciplinary Medical-Engineering Research Team
This project is a national medical research initiative jointly supported by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Education. With a total floor area of 12,600 square meters, the architectural design seamlessly integrates intelligent construction technology with the traditional Eastern philosophy of "Tian Yuan Di Fang" (Round Heaven and Square Earth) to create specialized functional spaces. Upon completion, the platform will house world-class major scientific facilities for Zero-Magnetic Medicine, focusing on cutting-edge research and the development of human functional information imaging equipment.
APG utilized BIM technology to establish high-precision structural visualization models, conducting advanced simulations of stress distribution and structural morphology. By maintaining deep synergy with architectural and structural designers, APG successfully resolved the complex structural challenges inherent in these unique functional spaces.
Scope of services:
- Creation of structural visualization BIM model
- Stress distribution and structural morphology simulation
- Modular division and container allocation schemes optimization
